Guide to Coral Propagation


This course will teach you to correctly propagate corals in its natural environment. It is not a science textbook that will describe the deeper biology of corals. However the techniques and methodology taught has been carefully researched through years of experimentation. Correctly applied the techniques and methodology of this course will help ensure higher success in coral  propagation. This course is designed as modular materials of the Ocean Quest coral propagation certification program. The content combined with hands on training by qualified Ocean Quest trainers will start you in coral propagation.

Mr. Anuar Abdullah is the Founder & CEO of Ocean Quest Global, he has worked with the Coral Reefs since 1981. He has a Master’s Degree in Oceanography and has travelled extensively to various islands across the globe with interest in conservation efforts, specifically coral restoration. Back in Malaysia, Anuar began his own self-funded research to discover a more effective way to help revitalise & propagate corals for over 14 years. Driven by his passion, Anuar created his own path in the field of coral conservation and created Ocean Quest Global for people to come together to share similar goals in restoring the corals.
